• Roll-closed tube ends to eliminate the need for 360° disk welds, which have higher failure rates due to gas loss and structural failure. 
• Nislide process forms a tough, ductile, fatigue-resistant nitride surface on the rod. In 24-hour ASTM B117 salt-spray tests, nitride rods showed 8 times better corrosion resistance than chrome-plated rods.  
• Overall improved sealing properties, which lead to longer gas spring life, even in extreme conditions.
