Door Check Gas Springs

Door Check Gas Springs have an integrated mechanical coil spring on the inside, between the top of the piston and the bottom of the bushing, allowing the gas spring to extend beyond the stated extended length. This is critical in environments where weather, such as strong winds, or workplace accidents cause your door to open beyond the normal open position. Under these conditions, the coil spring inside the gas spring will be compressed, cushioning the blow and preventing the gas spring, its connectors, or brackets from bending or breaking. This increased durability extends the life of the gas spring and prevents collateral damage.
