Genesis Gas Springs
Genesis gas springs cover a wide range of size and force requirements, from compact, low-force 6x15mm springs to the heaviest forces supported by 14x28mm configurations.
Other features include:
- Roll-closed tube ends to eliminate the need for 360° disk welds, which have higher failure rates due to gas loss and structural failure.
- Nislide process forms a tough, ductile, fatigue-resistant nitride surface on the rod. In 24-hour ASTM B117 salt-spray tests, nitride rods showed 8 times better corrosion resistance than chrome-plated rods.
- Overall improved sealing properties, which lead to longer gas spring life, even in extreme conditions.
- Easy installation with no separate safety clip required.
