A.L. Hansen
In 1920, Augie L. Hansen founded the A. L. Hansen Manufacturing Company in Chicago, an entrepreneurial venture known for its innovative products. One of his notable inventions is the "Hansen Tacker," an industrial stapler, as well as the five-sided "Wrigley Revolving Gum Display" found in drugstores. While these products gained fame, the company primarily focused on manufacturing hardware components for the industrial and vehicle markets. For over ninety-five years, the slogan "Hardware for Hard Wear" has represented the company's commitment to quality. As the trailer and truck body markets evolved, Hansen's handles, hinges, latches, and door locks have remained reliable, with many in the NATM and NTEA community continuing to trust these products today.
