We want to make sure that you are 100% satisfied.

 

•  We offer a money-back refund on items returned within 30 days of purchase that are in saleable condition.
•  Used Products - Please reach out to our team to determine if the item qualifies for a refund. For safety reasons, we can not accept gas spring products that have been mounted.  
•  Clearance and Discontinued Items - All sales are final on clearance and discontinued items and will not be accepted for refund.
•  Return Exceptions - Products that are in unsaleable condition, expired, modified, or are special parts do not qualify for a return. Lot code items that are not in original packaging with lot code information intact are nonrefundable.  

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN OR EXCHANGE


If your order qualifies for a return, complete the return request form online below. You will receive email communication updating you on the progress of your return request. 

 

Alternatively, you can call our customer service team at 1-800-821-3520 or email us at sales@austinhardware.com. Please provide your order number and your reason for the return.

 

After submitting a return request, our customer service team will review and approve or deny the return based on our return policy. If approved, you will then receive a return authorization approval email. ORDERS RETURNED WITHOUT AN APPROVED RETURN AUTHORIZATION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A 15% RESTOCKING FEE.

RETURN SHIPPING


Customers are responsible for all return shipment charges. In order to avoid lost packages Austin Hardware recommends customers use a return shipping carrier with tracking, such as UPS or USPS. 

RETURNING AN ORDER


First complete a return request and wait for an email approval. When sending back your order, the following information must be provided:

  •  Original Date of Purchase
  •  Order Number
  •  Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number
  •  Buyer’s Name and Address


Orders without this information may be subject to a 15% restocking fee and potentially denied. After you submit the request below, you will receive a confirmation that can be printed and filled out with this information or simply provide on a piece of paper in the shipment.

 

Approved returns will receive a refund to your account for the full product value less your original shipping charges. Please allow 7-10 days to receive your refund.

RETURN EXCEPTIONS


We cannot accept used, expired, modified, or special parts that are in unsaleable condition except in rare cases of manufacturers' defect or extenuating circumstances. For safety reasons, we cannot accept gas springs that have been mounted or lot code items that are not in their original packaging with lot code information intact. All sales are final on clearance or discontinued items.
